Planado Product Updates, October 2026: Global Search, Saved Views and Mobile App 4.23

In October, the Planado web app got a global search, and job lists became more flexible: you can save a configured job list and share it with colleagues, and arrange columns the way you like. The mobile app reached version 4.23 with a faster job list, a dark theme, job priorities, and video in reports.
Global search
A search bar now sits at the top of the web app. It looks through jobs, requests, addresses, clients, and employees at once.
You can find a record by:
- job number;
- part of a phone number or address, for example "916 47" or "elm 12";
- employee or client name;
- any job field, including your custom fields.
A client calls and gives the last few digits of their phone number? The dispatcher types them into the search bar and opens the right job without jumping between sections. See how Planado supports office teams on the At the office page.
Global search is being enabled for all accounts gradually. If you don't see the search bar yet, write to support@planado.app and we'll switch it on sooner.
Saved views in the job list
You can now save a job list with your set of columns and filters as a view and share it with individual employees, groups, departments, or the whole company.
Views can be renamed, reordered, hidden, and deleted. If a colleague has already built a useful view, create your own based on it and adjust it to your needs.
For example, a branch manager sets up a view of their department's unfinished jobs once and shares it with every dispatcher. Nobody has to reapply the same filters every morning.
Column order and width
In the job and address lists, you can now rearrange columns and change their width. Put the data you check together side by side, such as status and assignee, and widen the address or comment column so long text isn't cut off.
Together with saved views, this gives every employee a workspace tailored to their tasks.
Mobile app 4.23
The new version of the app for field workers came out in October. Here's what changed.
Speed and stability
The job list opens twice as fast, day filters switch instantly, and a job's status changes as soon as you tap. Reports upload more reliably on a weak connection.
Job list and map on one tab
The job list and the map are now together on the Jobs tab, so there's no need to switch sections to see jobs on the map.
Dark theme
The app now has a dark theme, which is easier on the eyes in the evening and in dimly lit spaces.
Job priority
Jobs now show their priority, so field workers immediately see which visits are urgent.
Video in reports
A new Video report field lets workers attach a clip from the site to the job. Video shows how equipment runs or how an installation turned out more clearly than photos do.
Documents tab
Job print forms are now available in the app on the Documents tab. You set the forms up in the web app; see Custom print layouts in the knowledge base.
Jobs without internet
If there's no signal on site, a worker can create a job on the spot and start it right away.
Other changes
- You can refine a job address's coordinates on the map if the pin is off.
- Employees can add a profile photo.
- Bug fixes.
