Map in the mobile aplication

9/8/2025

The mobile app's map displays a worker's jobs. Using it, you can determine which job is easiest to reach and in what order to perform the jobs. The map uses the same filters as the jobs list.

Using the map in the app

Open the map in the mobile app. Jobs matching the applied filter will be shown. By default, the filter is set to the current day.

For jobs to appear on the map, they must have an address with coordinates. If a job has no address or its coordinates are not defined, it will not appear on the map.

The job icon shows its time, template, and client.

To select a job, tap it. A job preview will open at the bottom of the screen.

The job icon depends on its status:

Blue — published, not started yet;

Purple — en route;

Green — started;

Gray — paused;

Light green — completed successfully;

Red — completed unsuccessfully.

Completed jobs are displayed only when using the “Completed” status filter.

Jobs with different statuses on the map

To open the job for execution, drag the job panel upward.

A route to the job address can be built in a navigation app.

To open a route to the job in a third‑party app, tap the arrow icon.

The navigation app is chosen in the mobile app settings on the Profile tab. Currently, Planado supports Google Maps, Apple Maps, and Waze as navigation apps.

After this, the maps app will open with the job’s address.

Map filters

Different filters can be applied to jobs. Tap “By days” in the top right corner to do this. A list of available filters will open: by day, by status, and recent.

The by day filter lets you view jobs for a selected day. It is possible to select “Yesterday”, “Today”, “Tomorrow”, or a date from the calendar. As a result, the map will display unfinished jobs for the selected day.

The by days filter

In the mobile app, only jobs scheduled or completed no earlier than 7 days from the current date are available. For example, on September 8, jobs from September 1 will be visible in the app, but not earlier. This is done to reduce the number of jobs in the app, which affects the app’s performance speed.

The status filter lets you view unfinished or completed jobs for all available days.

Job status filter

This way, it’s possible to view completed jobs from the past or jobs scheduled for the future.

The “Recent” filter shows all recently accessed jobs.

The “Recent” filter

The recent filter can also be used to view jobs created via the mobile app. More details on creating jobs in the mobile app are described in the instructions.
